Fall season is underway, even though the weather feels like summer. The Labor Day Tournament begins on Friday. High school teams from around the state will play each other. Our games are posted on the calendar. Our first game starts at 9am on Friday, so be there by 8 am to warm up. The games on Friday will be played at Mountain View H.S. Saturday we have games at two different locations. Please see the calendar for times and fields.
A couple players and parents have called expressing concern that the tournament is on a school day. Please be aware that high school teams are accustomed to leaving school early for a game, or missing school completely when necessary for travel to a game. We are playing high school teams at this tournament and they are all missing school to be there. Talk to teachers in advance and plan for making up work.
We will have the same situation for the tournament in St. George at the end of October. Please plan accordingly.
